Advanced Ultrasonic Technician, PA SW AUT

LOCATION: Open positions in Owensboro, KY; Houston, TX

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES, and REQUIREMENTS:

• - Certified in advanced UT Methods, Phased Array, Shear Wave, Automated UT
• - Rope Access certification a plus
• - Detection of defects according to the applicable standard/regulation
• - Experience with inspection of tanks, pipeline, and fabrication
• - Valid driver's license with good driving record
• - Able to lift 50 pounds
• - Able to work at heights over 40 feet and in confined spaces entering through a 24" manhole
• - Complete reports and documentation of testing
• - Must pass drug screen and background check

WORK ENVIRONMENT

• - Inside and outside work in all elements of weather
• - Some travel required, day and overnight
• - Work performed on customer's site
• - Work in independent crews of 1 or 2
• - Responsible for maintaining vehicle and equipment
• - Work can be on an emergency basis according to customer's needs
• - Shifts can exceed 10 hours a day
• - Examples of work locations are pipelines, refineries, papermills, power stations, and chemical plants
